A Little Help From Our Friends

Blessedly my sister Holly and I are doing better, but the Lyme care must continue until completion. Holly is still doing her antibiotic injections while I continue to take them orally. We are both still taking a lot of support for liver, thyroid, adrenals, kidneys…. and all the other organs and systems that need support to make it through this journey. It remains vastly expensive and we are looking to being at the end of funds. Holly and I are both blessed to owe our very lives to our amazing doctors, but mostly to our parents Paul and Joanne. The financial toll has been huge over the last year and a half, treatment for both of us has been over 100,000, and in a few months my sister and I will not be able to continue any treatment that will be needed. If you could please pass on and share this post it would be much appreciated. And if you are able to help support us even in a small amount we would be very grateful.

Combatting The Flu, the Lymie Way

The Flu has been flying around like crazy, (probably quite literally blowing in the wind from person to person). I am not sure about the rest of the country but here in Washington a lot of people have been coming down with it. Alas, it is now my turn.  I got it from my mother, who picked it up in the hospital. The last few weeks have been tough for her, with a blood clot in her lung and leg, then getting the flu. She is doing okay thankfully despite having to go in for a lot of blood draws and being horribly sick with this flu.

Anyway for me It started when I woke up yesterday morning with a sore throat, sneezing and runny nose. Later in the day a headache and ear pain, swollen and painful lymph nodes, and started feeling feverish. So far it has not gone down into my chest. I am doing everything I can to combat this thing naturally. Taking my homemade vitamin water ( tons of C, Calcium, magnesium, boron, potassium). Also Vitamin D and Beta Carotene. All this of course beyond all my Lyme stuff.

From my LLMD I am taking the flu prevention protocol:

Also I am using both these recommended homeopathic nasal sprays

I am diffusing some essential oils.

I am using a few different oils, peppermint, bergamot, lemongrass and Young Living Purification. These seem to help make my nose and lungs feel clearer.

And Finally my homemade detox and immune support juice! (thankfully I had just made a big batch before getting sick)

Beets, Carrot, Cucumber, Celery, Parsley, Ginger, Tumeric, Green Apple, Orange

I have to say that yes I am sick, but I have been able to breathe through my nose very well and my chest is clear. I think (hope) that the above regimen will keep this thing from getting very bad.

My Old Friend again

So I have generally been doing a lot better for a few weeks, which is good. I navigated the holidays decently…..not too may cheats. I thought I bounced back a lot better than I have in the past. But the last (maybe) two weeks I have had some insomnia, some more fatigue, puffier eyes in the morning, and increased acne. I have kind of ignored them because compared to my normal complaints and struggles these are minor.

Anyway last Friday had a very rare girls night and ate (gulp) gluten-free pizza and ice cream. I did not bounce back so well and I have been feeling pretty toxic.

Went to my natural doctor today and it turns out it is my liver, again. Nothing caused by food, but I just didn’t handle it as well. Anyway, a few knew supplements and liver support and hopefully I will be feeling better in a few days.
