Laura Wild is a freelance writer, medical student, and Lyme disease patient advocate from northern New York. Her dramatic story has been featured on the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel’s “Mystery Diagnosis” which chronicles her bitter fight for survival through a nightmare of complex medical diagnoses. She saw over 50 doctors on her quest for a diagnosis, and was deemed a “medical mystery”. Laura was misdiagnosed as having fibromyalgia (FMS), Addison’s disease, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and countless others.
