please note, one area I do differ in opinion from dr mercola (and this is according to my own experience and my doctor’s treatment manual) is over the use of antibiotics; I was on several months of antibiotics before my doctor transitioned me to powerful and equally effective herbal anti-bacterials. And I AM getting better!
Here are a few quotes from the article:
“Many Lyme patients who battle this disease on a daily basis appear healthy, which is why Lyme disease has been called “the invisible illness.” They often “look good,” and their routine blood work appears normal, but their internal experience is a far different story.”
“the bacteria can also be spread by other insects, including mosquitoes, spiders, fleas, and mites. This may be the reason so few Lyme sufferers recall being bitten by a tick.”
‘In the past, sufferers were told their ailments were “all in their head,”’
“With Lyme, the most disabling symptoms are always invisible. You never feel completely well, there is always some issue to deal with…”
“it (Lyme) easily mimics disorders, such as multiple sclerosis (MS), arthritis, Parkinson’s, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, ALS, ADHD and Alzheimer’s disease”
